White Swiss Shepherd Buyers Beware

This morning I came across an ad for an upcoming litter of quality pups that have full pedigrees and can be registered.

Reading this any body (who does not know any better) would think they are buying a fully ANKC pedigreed and registered dog - YOU ARE NOT. Yet it will cost you more than $1000.

If you want to buy one of these incredible dogs and you want an ANKC pedigreed dog it will cost you upwards of $2000 and at this time there is only one kennel in Australia that sells fully pedigreed white Swiss shepherds. See the link in the sidebar. If you are a new white Swiss shepherd breed that is an ANKC registered kennel with ANKC registered dogs then feel free to contact me on white.swiss.shepherds@gmail.com. I will require proof before any link is added.

The advertisement goes on to say the female white shepherd has been AI with two imported males. This may be so but this does not make the dogs purebred dogs and they still cannot be registered with the ANKC as a puebred dog.

BUYER BEWARE - Know What You Are Buying - backyard breeders are selling their dogs for more than $1000 and many buyers are fooled by the talk of purebred papers and registration. The purebed papers are from their own clubs and, at best, are merely a record of the dog's history and a lot of that has been guesswork at best.
